The Centre for Public Policy Analysis and Research (CAPPR) is an independent, non-profit and non-partisan organization whose mission is to help improve the living standards of people in Benin and across Africa by producing and disseminating rigorous economic analyses that support the adoption of effective public policies. CAPPR's work is distinguished by its non-partisan approach, empirical foundation and submission to a rigorous expert review process.

A rigorous review process

CAPPR's draft publications undergo a rigorous external review involving academics and independent experts from the public, private and community sectors. The quality of the research, rather than the identity of the authors or reviewers, is the main criterion.
